Only rowing no riding...

It's always hard not send out the "Kelley Acres" Ride email. Once this (above) happened it was a no brainer. The roads were a mess with tons of accidents and our driveway was a sheet of crunchy frozen snow.
With the unfortunate weather cancelling the KA ride the last two weeks, I was able to log in meters towards the Concept2 Holiday Rowing Challenge. The goal was to average 10k a day for the first 10 days. I am happy to report I have rowed 116,298meters in 9:22:52 in 11 days. The hardest part of this challenge (not counting the external factors like having a life) is getting through the 80-120k. Fortunately the C2 webside offers up a nice selection of intervals for cyclists that are using the rower for cross training. It certainly has helped with this unseasonably early winter!
Let's hope the holiday schedule let's me finish this off. I want that "C2 Holiday Challenge" pin damn it! Wish me luck....

GOOD LUCK, though I am totally confident you can do it and won't need much luck at all :))

Thanks KML...The exciting part is not knowing what life will throw your way.

Hi CK - I am sure you will make this challenge! I started rowing a bit at my gym, and it is fun! Although I don't know if it would still be fun if I was doing it at the same volume as you are! Through in some running, and you are ready for some Adventure Racing!
